The sticks and stones tension between WBC Lightweight Champion Caroline Dubois and WBO titleholder Terri Harper has surpassed the limits of the ring long before the opening bell.<\/div>\n

Following the filming of an intense episode of “The Gloves Are Off,”<\/i>\u00a0the tension and frisson between both stars erupted into a verbal confrontation that has made it clear that their duel on Sunday, April 5th, at the London Olympia will be mustard keen and peppery.<\/div>\n

What began as a television recording for Sky Sports ended in an off-camera altercation. Dubois pursued Harper as she attempted to leave the set, launching harsh criticisms regarding her rival’s mental fortitude.<\/div>\n

Dubois: “I see no resistance; she is weak-minded”<\/div>\n
True to her direct style, the WBC champion held nothing back after the encounter. “I look at her and I see right through her. As a person, I don’t detect any resistance. I think she\u2019s quite weak-minded, quite pathetic,” Dubois declared.<\/div>\n

The young British star insisted that her aggressiveness is simply pure honesty: “If someone feels intimidated, it\u2019s a natural consequence. I\u2019m just trying to be myself and say what I feel. I\u2019m going in there to find the knockout and entertain the fans.”<\/div>\n

For her part, Terri Harper, a three-weight world champion, downplayed her opponent’s attacks, labeling Dubois\u2019 behavior as “forced.”<\/div>\n

“I feel like I lost a few brain cells trying to argue with stupidity,” the WBO champion retorted. “She tried to force the argument, but I stood firm on the facts. You can\u2019t argue with facts, and you definitely can\u2019t argue with stupidity.”<\/div>\n

This unification bout will headline a historic card produced by Most Valuable Promotions\u00a0(Jake Paul\u2019s promotional firm) in conjunction with Sky Sports.
