Although the title Lester Mart\u00ednez won tonight was an Interim one, this triumph must be highlighted and lauded, as it firmly puts the Central American nation on the international boxing map.<\/p>\n<p>Mart\u00ednez won wide on the judges&#8217; scorecards: Carla Caiz (120-108), Fernando Villarreal (118-110), and Zachary Young (119-109), confirming the dominance he displayed throughout the fight despite a strong finish by Aleem in the championship rounds.<\/p>\n<p>The fight took place amidst a great atmosphere at the Orange Show Events Center.
