Boxing in Taiwan celebrated a memorable day as local prospect Jhung Ciou captured the OPBF (Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation) Strawweight Silver title, defeating Japan’s Ryuga Hattori by unanimous decision.<\/p>\n

The event, organized by the promotional team PRO BOXING TEAM TAOYUAN in the city of Taichung, Taiwan, represented a firm step forward in the expansion of professional boxing within the region. Before a dedicated audience, Ciou demonstrated technical superiority and great physical conditioning to dominate the scheduled rounds.<\/p>\n

The bout was supervised by high-level officials, with referee Takeru Okaniwa directing the action in the ring. At the end of the contest, judges Eddie Lang, Saemi Okaniwa, and Koji Tanaka submitted scores of 79-73, 78-74, and 77-73, all in favor of the Taiwanese fighter.<\/p>\n

With this result, Jhung Ciou not only claims the Silver belt but also secures a significant position within the regional rankings, seeking a shot at the division’s absolute title in the near future.<\/p>\n
