After capturing the interim title in 2023 with a victory over Yordenis Ug\u00e1s and defending it against Fabi\u00e1n Maidana,<\/p>\n<p>Barrios was elevated to full champion following Terence Crawford\u2019s departure from the division. His last two defenses ended in draws: first against Abel Ramos in November 2024, and most recently this past July against the 46-year-old Filipino legend, Manny Pacquiao.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, Ryan Garcia (24-2, 20 KOs) seeks redemption after a turbulent year.
