With a brutal first-round knockout, he demolished Benjamin Gavazi and captured the WBC Silver light heavyweight title.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The bout, held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the National Exhibition Centre, ended just 2 minutes and 15 seconds into the opening round. Whittaker (now 10-0-1, 7 KOs) dropped his opponent with a powerful combination and sealed the victory with a precise right hand to Gavazi\u2019s face, forcing the referee to halt the contest. Gavazi now stands at 19-2 with 13 knockouts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Whittaker celebrated visibly moved after the stoppage.
