Champions, Community Leaders, and Local Organizations Unite for Successful Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway at The Graff Lab<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Los Angeles, CA.- \u00a0In a powerful display of community solidarity, The Graff Lab in the Pico Union District hosted a highly successful Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway, distributing hundreds of meals, groceries, and essential items to local families. Despite steady rainfall throughout the day, residents began lining up as early as 11:00 AM, demonstrating the deep need and the strong community spirit that defines the neighborhood.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s event brought together an extraordinary coalition of partners, including Coach Daysi, WBC Cares, TORKLAW, DMG Boxing, and Supreme Boxing, supported by a lineup of world-class athletes and community champions.<\/p>\n

A Star-Studded Volunteer Team Gives Back<\/h2>\n

The giveaway featured hands-on participation from notable fighters and champions who dedicated their afternoon to serving the Pico Union community:<\/p>\n

    Together, along with dozens of volunteers, they handed out food, loaded bags into cars, greeted families, and helped maintain a safe and uplifting environment.<\/p>\n

    Hundreds Receive Food, Clothing, and Gifts<\/h2>\n

    With donations and support from multiple partners, the team distributed:<\/p>\n

    • 200 bags of groceries<\/li>\n
    • Bottles of apple cider<\/li>\n
    • Hundreds of new clothing items, sweaters, and gifts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The resources provided will allow hundreds of families to enjoy a warm and meaningful Thanksgiving meal \u2014 many of whom would otherwise struggle during the holiday season.<\/p>\n

      A Community Event Powered Through the Rain<\/h2>\n

      Even as rain continued throughout the afternoon, the atmosphere remained spirited and energized. DJ Disfoo kept the crowd uplifted with music that transformed the damp weather into a lively, celebratory backdrop.<\/p>\n

      \u201cWhether it\u2019s rain or shine, this community shows up \u2014 and so do we,\u201d said one volunteer. \u201cToday was about love, dignity, and making sure families are taken care of.\u201d<\/p>\n

      The Graff Lab, long known as a safe creative space for youth and local artists, continues to serve as a central hub for community outreach in Pico Union. Today\u2019s event reinforced its commitment to supporting underserved families and building stronger neighborhood ties.<\/p>\n

      Coach Daysi, WBC Cares, TORKLAW, DMG Boxing, Supreme Boxing, and all participating champions expressed gratitude to the community and to the volunteers who made the event possible.<\/p>\n
