Fulton and Foster Promise War for WBC Supremacy<\/strong><\/h2>\n

During the virtual press conference ahead of the December 6 card at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, the matchup between Stephen Fulton Jr. (current WBC Featherweight World Champion) and O\u2019Shaquie Foster (current WBC Super Featherweight World Champion) stole the spotlight as one of the event\u2019s main attractions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fulton was direct in his mindset:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cI don\u2019t have an answer for what Foster says. On December 6, I\u2019ll become a three-division world champion and go home with another belt.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He added:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cI\u2019m coming to fight \u2014 like always. Whatever happens, I\u2019ll be ready.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding Foster\u2019s comments, Fulton noted:<\/span>
\n<\/span> \u201cAll the trash talk doesn\u2019t give me extra motivation. This is normal. I\u2019m done with that. I\u2019m ready to train and become a three-division world champion.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He also mentioned that he worked to make the fight happen this year and that having more time to prepare could give him an edge \u2014 \u201cbut we\u2019ll see.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0For his part, Foster declared:<\/span>
\n<\/span> \u201cI\u2019m glad this fight is finally happening. It was supposed to happen a couple of times already. We\u2019re fighting now, so there\u2019s tension \u2014 that\u2019s all. Nothing personal, but Fulton is trying to take something that belongs to me.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0He continued:<\/span>
\n<\/span> \u201cWhen it was postponed last time, I was upset because we were so close. But it gave me more time to prepare. I never have weight issues, so that didn\u2019t affect me. I\u2019m more prepared mentally and physically now.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Finally, Foster was blunt:<\/span>
\n<\/span> \u201cI know he made a mistake accepting this fight. I\u2019m going in there to dominate and show the world why he doesn\u2019t belong in the ring with me.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
