Camila \u201cMagnificent\u201d Zamorano\u2019s Defense Postponed; Opponent Will Change<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The highly anticipated first defense of the youngest interim champion in boxing history, Camila \u201cMagnificent\u201d Zamorano, has been postponed.<\/p>\n

Originally scheduled for October 18 at Arena Sonora in Hermosillo, the fight will undergo changes in both date and opponent.<\/p>\n

Zamorano, who made history by winning the WBC interim atomweight title in June after defeating Japanese fighter Mika Iwakawa, was set to face Thai boxer Sothia Sitthichai.<\/p>\n

However, for reasons not yet specified, the bout will not take place as planned.<\/p>\n

At just 17 years old, the Mexican fighter continues her training while her team works to set a new date and opponent. With an undefeated record of 12 wins, including 1 by knockout, Camila reaffirms her commitment to stay active and solidify her position as one of the brightest prospects in women\u2019s boxing.<\/p>\n
