Carlos Ca\u00f1izales to Fight in Thailand During WBC Convention<\/strong><\/h2>\n

At the traditional Martes de Caf\u00e9, it was announced that Venezuelan fighter Carlos \u201cCCC\u201d Ca\u00f1izales will defend his WBC light flyweight world title during the annual WBC Convention in Thailand. His opponent has yet to be confirmed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Promoter Ricardo Maldonado gave further details:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe reached an agreement with promoters in Thailand, and we will have the honor of staging this title defense at the Convention.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Mauricio Sulaim\u00e1n remarked:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis was the first world championship fight in Venezuela in 10 years, and you are the first champion from there. Congratulations on the way you have managed your career.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

As a token of gratitude, Ca\u00f1izales presented Sulaim\u00e1n with the shorts he wore when he became world champion.<\/span><\/p>\n
