Yerny Betancourt is the new WBC Super Bantamweight Silver Champion<\/b><\/h2>\n

In last Saturday\u2019s main event, Yerny \u201cMostrico\u201d Betancourt defeated Mexico\u2019s Miguel Moreno by TKO in the final round, and with this victory, \u201cMostrico\u201d wins\u00a0 the WBC Silver super bantamweight title in front of his home crowd.<\/span><\/p>\n

The bout, at the Tamanaco Intercontinental Hotel in Caracas, Venezuela, was an absolute spectacle. The Venezuelan dropped his opponent twice \u2014once in the first round and again in the tenth\u2014 before finishing the fight in the twelfth.<\/span><\/p>\n

After a powerful combination and due to the accumulated damage throughout the fight, Referee Jos\u00e9 A. Garc\u00eda decided to stop the contest.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yerny \u201cMostrico\u201d Betancourt now holds a record of 27 wins, 2 losses, and 21 KOs.<\/span><\/p>\n
