The culprit responsible for tarnishing his record was Sa\u00fal \u201cCanelo\u201d Alvarez; they faced each other in September last year, the fight went to 12 rounds, and the Mexican won by unanimous decision.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Earlier this year, Sheeraz faced Jonathan Gonzalez, but the fight was short-lived as the New Yorker knocked out his opponent in the first round.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Of his 18 KOs, 17 have been in the first round.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Hamzah Sheeraz.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Briton remains undefeated. His most important fight to date was against Carlos Adame.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In February of this year, Sheeraz faced Adames for the WBC middleweight world championship. After 12 intense rounds, the judges ruled that, due to the closeness of the fight, it would end in a draw. Carlos Adames retained his belt.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hazam has been WBC champion twice.
