Muay Thai Convention will be held in conjunction with the 63rd WBC Convention<\/strong><\/h2>\n

At the Thai Embassy in Mexico City, it became official that the 63rd WBC Convention will be held in conjunction with the WBC Muay Thai convention in Bangkok, Thailand. The simultaneous Conventions which are a combined First, will be held from November 30 to December 5<\/p>\n

Before announcing this, an emotional tribute to honour and commemorate the passing of Pope Francis was shown.<\/p>\n

A video was shown which gave a glimpse of past WBC Conventions in Thailand. As well as a video tribute to Thai boxing, this second video showed how Thai boxers won their championships.<\/p>\n

Present at the conference were WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman, Thai Ambassador to Mexico H.E. Rooge Thammongkol and President of the WBC Asian Boxing Council and International Secretary of the World Boxing Council General Thanapol Bhakdibhumi.<\/p>\n

The WBC Convention is a Mega Event, where we will have important lectures, medical seminars, world rankings, mandatory fight session, awards, gala dinners, seminars for ring officials, WBC Cares visits, Talent Show, boxing billboard, among other activities.<\/p>\n

The World Boxing Council MuayThai Convention will offer two days of workshops and training seminars for ring officials, world champions, championship fights, training workshops among a variety of events. .<\/p>\n

World champions, Humberto \u201cChiquita\u201d Gonzalez, Adrian \u2018Confesor\u2019 Hernandez, Jose Luis Bueno and Jose Antonio \u201cJaguar\u201d Aguirre, received a medal making them official ambassadors of this convention.<\/p>\n

Mauricio Sulaiman gave a scale belt to Ambassador Thammongko.<\/p>\n

The WBC flag was given as a symbol of the commitment in these Conventions. This way it is officialized that the WBC family will travel to Thailand to the Convention.<\/p>\n
