In an explosive rematch, Mexican William Camar\u00f3n Zepeda retained the WBC interim lightweight world title by defeating American Tevin 2X Farmer by majority decision in a bout held at the Benito Ju\u00e1rez Poliforum in Canc\u00fan, Quintana Roo.<\/p>\n

In the second clash between the two fighters, the boxer from San Mateo Atenco, State of Mexico, retained his title after the judges’ scores scored 114-114, 116-112, and 115-113.<\/p>\n

The Mexican unleashed effective combinations from the early rounds, punishing his opponent and keeping him on the ropes several times.<\/p>\n

However, Farmer reacted and also began to damage Zepeda, who even suffered a nosebleed in the sixth round.<\/p>\n

Although Camar\u00f3n’s punches seemed more jolting, the Philadelphia fighter simply refused to buckle and also managed to land hard on the Mexican.
