1975.- Japanese Kuniaki Shibata defeated Algerian Ould Makloufi by decision, in a match that took place at the Kyuden Gym in Fukuoka, Japan. With this victory Kuniaki defended his WBC super featherweight title.
\n1982.- Puerto Rican Wilfredo Gomez knocked out Mexican Juan Meza in the sixth round in Atlantic City, New Jersey, defending his WBC super bantamweight title.
\n1983.- American Larry Holmes defeated French Lucien Rodriguez by decision in Scranton, Pennsylvania, defending his WBC heavyweight title.
\n1998.- At the Ice Rink in Telford, England, British Richie Woodhall defeated South African Thulane Malinga, defending the WBC super middleweight title.
\n2010.- Thai Pongsaklek Wonjongkam defeated Japanese Koki Kameda in Tokyo, Japan. In this fight the WBC flyweight title was at stake.
\n2010.- In the Super Six tournament where the best super middleweights of the moment were, Andre Dirrell defeated Arthur Abraham by disqualification in 11 rounds, in Detroit, Michigan. In this fight the WBC super middleweight title was on the line.
\n2010.- Thai Oleydong Sithsanerchai defeated Japanese Yasutaka Kuroki in Tokyo, Japan. With this victory, Thai fighter champion defended his WBC straw-weight title.
