Nine boxers enrolled in the Clean Boxing Program during March<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Since its creation in 2016, the Clean Boxing Program (CBP) has been a priority for the WBC.<\/p>\n

All champions and those ranked in the top 15 must be enrolled in the CBP, otherwise they will be removed from the rankings.<\/p>\n

One of the CBP’s priorities is to raise awareness to help everyone involved in sports, understand the dangers of using performance-enhancing substances, which can lead to serious long term health problems for athletes.<\/p>\n

In addition to testing, we educate athletes about the dangers and disadvantages that doping can cause, as well as the penalties for testing positive for prohibited substances, in or out of competition.<\/p>\n

The WBC is extremely proud of the work the Clean Boxing Program is doing around the world. Dr. Margaret Goodman has passionately dedicated many years of her life to making boxing safer, and the Clean Boxing Program is a reality thanks to the great work VADA does day after day.<\/p>\n

By complying with the Clean Boxing Program protocols and, in other cases, voluntarily, our qualifiers fully complied with their CBP registration form, setting an example for everyone, as their registration demonstrates their concern for the well-being and respect for our sport.
