With this victory Ben\u00edtez retained the WBC welterweight title.<\/p>\n<p>1980.- Panamanian Hilario Zapata defeated Japanese Shigeo Nakajima in a great fight in Tokyo, Japan. In this fight the WBC light flyweight title was at stake.<\/p>\n<p>1988.- Roger Mayweather, Floyd\u2019s uncle, remained as WBC super lightweight world champion by defeating Mexican challenger Mauricio Aceves at one minute and 32 seconds of the third round in a fight that took place at the Sports Arena in Los Angeles.
