1978.- Mexican Carlos Palomino knocked out Moroccan Mimoun Mohatar in 9 rounds in Las Vegas, Nevada. With this victory Palomino defended his WBC welterweight title.<\/p>\n

1983.- Michael Spinks conquered the WBC light heavyweight title by defeating Dwight Qawi by decision, at the Atlantic City Convention Center.<\/p>\n

1990.- Australian Jeff Harding knocked out Argentine Nestor Giovannini in 11 rounds in Atlantic City, New Jersey, defending his WBC light heavyweight title.<\/p>\n

1991.- Mexican Julio C\u00e9sar Ch\u00e1vez knocked out American John Duplessis in 4 rounds, defending his WBC super lightweight title. The match took place in Las Vegas, Nevada.<\/p>\n

1991.- Jamaican Simon Brown knocked out American Maurice Blocker in 10 rounds in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this fight the WBC welterweight title was at stake.<\/p>\n

2000.- American Floyd Mayweather defeated Mexican Goyo Vargas by decision in Las Vegas, Nevada, defending his WBC super featherweight title.<\/p>\n

2006.- In a close combat, Hasim Rahman drew with James Toney in Atlantic City, New Jersey. In this fight the WBC heavyweight title was in dispute.<\/p>\n
