Engineer Carlos Slim Helu, one of the greatest examples of humanity and philanthropy, has given fantastic support to Mexican boxing<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Don Carlos Slim Helu, who is an avid boxing fan, asked Don Jos\u00e9 Sulaim\u00e1n to specially design a program of genius, in a quest to find a fighter capable of shouldering the ermine mantle of the Great Julio Cesar Chavez.<\/p>\n

From there and from then on, the Ring Telmex-Telcel program was born, with lifelong pensions and social security for 27 former champions; and the important support for the Jos\u00e9 Sulaim\u00e1n Champions Fund independently administered by the Nevada Community Foundation.<\/p>\n

The Ring Telmex-Telcel Program emerged from a dream to become tangible reality on June 22, 2008 and 16 years later it has magnificently proved its worth.<\/p>\n
