Best Dave? No face save for Benavidez and Morrell!<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Dave rave, as undefeated light heavyweight stars David \u201cEl Monstro\u201d Benavidez and David Morrell Jr. came face to face, cheek to jowl, at a press conference in Los Angeles before fighting for Benavidez\u2019s interim WBC title and Morrell\u2019s WBA title.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s part and parcel of a PBC PPV extravaganza on Prime Video taking place Saturday, Feb. 1 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The bout of no Goliath, yet two Davids, is promoted by Sampson Boxing and Warriors Boxing.<\/p>\n

Each Dave is determined to pave the way:<\/p>\n

DAVID BENAV\u00cdDEZ:
\n\u201cHere we are again. I told them I was going to give them the fights they wanted to see, and now here we are. Morrell has been talking about me for a while and disrespecting me. He wanted to make it personal with me, so I\u2019m going to personally break his mouth. That will give him something to remember me by.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese are the type of fighters I want to fight. I want to face guys who think they are going to come in and knock me out. He has never fought anyone like me and I am going to show everyone that there are levels to this.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to get the credit I deserve when I beat him up. I love that he is confident. I love facing guys like this.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe knows what he said and that is exactly what I needed to get me pumped up to fight. He thinks he is big and bad, but he is nothing. I am going to show him who is the best on February 1.<\/p>\n
