1987.- In Atlantic City, New Jersey, American Mike Tyson defended his WBC heavyweight title by knocking out Tyrell Biggs in the seventh round.<\/p>\n

1987.- Australian Jeff Fenech defeated Mexican Carlos Zarate by technical decision in 4 rounds in Sydney, Australia. In this fight the WBC super bantamweight title was at stake.<\/p>\n

2008.- In Tokyo, Japan, local fighter Hozumi Hasegawa defended his WBC bantamweight title by knocking out Alejandro Valdez in the second round.<\/p>\n

2010.- In Hamburg, Germany, Ukrainian Vitali Klitschko defended his WBC heavyweight title, defeating North American Shannon Briggs by decision.<\/p>\n
