The WBC congratulates VADA for its Presidential Election work in Ukraine<\/strong><\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

On March 31 the Presidential\u00a0Election was \u00a0held in Ukraine,\u00a0then \u00a0a second round, scheduled \u00a0for April 21, since Ukrainian legislation stipulates\u00a0that in the absence of an \u00a0absolute majority, the two with most votes, namely Petro Poroshenko and Vladimir Zelenski will compete in a runoff.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For round two, the Voluntary Anti Doping Agency (VADA) was called upon to carry conduct tests on the candidates.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The World Boxing Council congratulates and thanks VADA for its dedicated professionalism and for the vitally important work this agency does, not only in the world of sports, but in any field where it is required.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Clean Boxing Program (CBP) of the World Boxing Council, which works hand in hand with the VADA, has already set the highest standard, with \u00a0anti-doping testing programs in professional boxing around the world .<\/p>\n
