An historic event will be held for the WBC family as we celebrate that two decades ago, WBC Supreme Council Lifetime Member General Kovid Bakhdibumi and WBC Lifetime President Don Jose Sulaiman were invited to a special audience with the King of Thailand, His Majesty Bhumibol Adulyadej, in Hua Hin, where they had a long discussion about Muay Thai.<\/p>\n

After this meeting, the WBC Muay Thai was established. General Kovid was appointed as his world leader and both he and Don Jose promised that they would do everything in their power to develop it to the fullest.<\/p>\n

Muay Thai is now flourishing and is now found in over 70 countries around the world thanks to the efforts of Royal Thai Army Major General and WBC Muay Thai President Thanapol Bakhdibumi and General Secretary Kevin Noone, who took this dream to a whole new level.<\/p>\n

To celebrate this feat, a series of events will be presented; among them, an extraordinary card, WBC Ring Officials Seminar for the entire MuayThai community in this region, a MuayThai Boxing Masterclass, plus the Weigh in front of the iconic Verona’s Colisseum.<\/p>\n
