\u00a0Doctor Fausto Daniel Garcia is appointed Director of the WBC Amateur Program<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaim\u00e1n, has presented \u00a0Doctor Fausto Daniel Garcia, who`s \u00a0built his reputation as an amateur boxing star, boxing promoter and medical expert, as Director of the WBC Amateur Program .<\/span><\/p>\n

During the traditional WBC weekly conference, Mauricio\u00a0\u00a0emphasized that for the organization it has been a priority to promote and develop amateur boxing, serving as a fundamental platform to create a nationwide progression, stressing the sole intention is to improve amateur boxing, which is the seed, from which the sport flourishes and blooms.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0He especially thanked the marvelous dedicated and tireless work of H\u00e9ctor Hern\u00e1ndez Vilchis, Dr. Antonio Fern\u00e1ndez and Carlos “Bondojo” Hern\u00e1ndez,\u00a0who`ve established \u00a0and advanced the success of the\u00a0WBC \u00a0Amateur Committee over the last thirty months.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Dr. Fausto Garcia who`s spent most of his life in Boxing in many levels and capacities, will be in charge of directing and taking the program to the next level.\u00a0 Dr Fausto said:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0“I feel very fortunate and grateful to be able to share my experiences in boxing, to return a little bit of everything it has given me.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I am convinced that sport is the best companion that one can have, because it not only feeds the spirit but also helps to raise confidence, via discipline and leading to\u00a0a healthy life in all aspects.”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Dr Fausto then reiterated his commitment to a great and fascinating job ahead, stressing that continued teamwork, energy\u00a0and passion invested via committed team work will be key to purposefully advance this initiative onwards.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
