On July 23, 2016, Terence Crawford defeated Ukrainian Viktor Postol and captured the WBC super lightweight title via unanimous decision.<\/p>\n

The fight took place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Both fighters entered the fight as undefeated world champions with records of 28-0.<\/p>\n

Crawford was dominant throughout the fight, displaying his incredible offensive talents. Postol was knock down twice and received a points deduction in the 11th round.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m on the top, I think my performance today put me on the pound-for-pound lists,\u201d Crawford said after the fight. Eight years have passed since that event and Crawford remains among the elite of the sport.<\/p>\n

Terence subsequently defeated John Molina Jr. by TKO in round 8 and Felix D\u00edaz in round 10. Almost a year after winning the WBC championship and after those two successful defenses, Crawford was crowned undisputed super lightweight champion by defeating Julius Indongo by KO in the 3rd<\/sup> round.<\/p>\n

On July 29, 2023, Terence Crawford knocked out Errol Spence Jr. in the ninth round at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, becoming undisputed welterweight champion.<\/p>\n

Crawford (40-0), who was defending the WBO title, took the undefeated record from Spence and the WBC, IBF and WBA belts in a great fight. Crawford looked very superior throughout the fight and sent his rival to the canvas in just the second round with a spectacular counter attack.<\/p>\n

Spence recovered, but was no longer the same, as he looked out of time and distance. After half of the fight, the superiority was already evident as Crawford’s powerful jab caused a lot of damage to Spence. In the ninth round, a series of punches in the center of the ring forced the referee to stop the fight.<\/p>\n

With this victory, Terence Crawford became the undisputed champion at 147 pounds, defended his undefeated record and confirmed himself as one of the best pound for pound boxers.<\/p>\n
