Unified Super Middleweight World Champion, Sa\u00fal \u201cCanelo\u201d \u00c1lvarez, successfully defended his titles in style, \u00a0and took home the beautiful TAMAULIPAS belt, by defeating former world champion Jaime Mungu\u00eda via unanimous decision, in the main event the Mexican Cinco de Mayo celebration, in the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas.<\/div>\n

Initially, Mungu\u00eda was the more aggressive, stalking and attacking Canelo with long jabs and straight, clinical combinations, but Canelo, who \u00a0is a seasoned maestro of defense, countered beautifully. and In round three a Canelo right uppercut found the mark, so Munguia visited the canvas, dusting his shorts.<\/div>\n
