Ivana Habazin – New WBC Welterweight Champion<\/b><\/h2>\n

Ivana Habazin, from Croatia, became the new World Boxing Council welterweight world champion, by defeating\u00a0 Hungarian Kinga Magyar via UD.<\/p>\n

The fight was at the KC Drazen Petrovic in Zagreb, Croatia and to achieve victory, Habazin utilized a firm defense mixed with\u00a0 a constant attack,\u00a0 to control the action for most of the fight,\u00a0 while Magyar sought a face to face, toe to toe confrontation.<\/p>\n

The Judges scored it 97-93, 99-92 and 98-92 so Habazin won a unanimous victory.\u00a0 Ivana improves\u00a0 her record to 23 wins with 5 losses and 7 knockouts. Magyar left the ring with a record of 14-5, 4 KO’s.<\/p>\n
