Ryan Garcia won the Jr NABF super featherweight belt in 2018, knocking out his rival Fernando Vargas in the first round.<\/p>\n

Two months later he became NABF 130-pound Champion, defeating Jayson Velez via wide UD<\/p>\n

In 2019, he moved up to the lightweight division to knock out the tough Romero Duno in one round. In this way he won the WBC silver title; crown that he once defended.<\/p>\n

Ryan \u201cKingry\u201d Garc\u00eda at that time 21-0, 18 KO’s defeated the British Luke Campbell (20-4, 16 KO’s) by knockout in the seventh round, to win the World Boxing Council interim lightweight title, the second January 2021 at the \u201cAmerican Airlines Center\u201d in Dallas, Texas.<\/p>\n

That night, \u00a0gold medal winner at the 2012 London Olympics Cambell knocked idown Ryan in the second round. Ryan got up, put his gloves on a raised guard and gradually recovered to regain control of the fight.<\/p>\n
