WBC Woman: Dayana S\u00e1nchez<\/b><\/h2>\n

A warrior of life, double silver medalist at the Toronto 2015 and Lima 2019 Pan American Games and who fulfilled her dream of being the first Argentine woman to box in the Olympic Games.<\/p>\n

Dayana S\u00e1nchez has been characterized as a born fighter, both in the ring and in life. Dayana began boxing at the age of 10 and although at first she did not like it,\u00a0 quickly, she was captivated by the sport of fists, so much so that at the age of 14 she made her debut in the ring, thanks to a special permit from the C\u00f3rdoba Federation of Boxing.<\/p>\n

Her ascent\u00a0 as a boxer was on the rise when an unfortunate accident caused burns to a large part of her body and damage to her respiratory tract, which ended her career in the ring; Dayana S\u00e1nchez demonstrated once again that she has a warrior of great spirit, which led her to be named by the WBC as \u201cThe Bravest Woman in the World\u201d at the recent Convention held in Uzbekistan. In addition to receiving the position as head of WBC Cares Argentina and WBC Kids.<\/p>\n
