1977.- Korean Dong Kyun Yum defended his WBC super bantamweight title, defeating Colombian Jos\u00e9 Cervantes, by decision in 15 rounds. The fight took place at the Changchung Gymnasium in Seoul.<\/p>\n

1982.- Nicaraguan Alexis Arg\u00fcello knocked out American James Busceme in the seventh round at the Civic Center in Beaumont, Texas, defending his WBC lightweight title.<\/p>\n

1983.- In the Public Hall of Cleveland, Ohio, Leroy Haley defeated Saoul Mamby by decision, defending the WBC super lightweight title.<\/p>\n

1999.- Mexican Erik \u201cTerrible\u201d Morales defended his WBC super bantamweight title, knocking out Puerto Rican \u00c1ngel Chac\u00f3n in the second round, at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

1999.- British Richie Woodhall knocked out German Vincenzo Nardiello in the sixth round in Newcastle. With this victory Richie defended his WBC super middleweight title.<\/p>\n

1999.- In a great fight, Oscar De La Hoya defeated Ike Quartey by decision in Las Vegas, Nevada, defending his WBC welterweight title.<\/p>\n
