1984.- In Kumamoto, Japan, local fighter Jiro Watanabe knocked out Thai Payao Pooltarat in the eleventh round. In this fight the WBC super flyweight title was disputed.<\/p>\n

1991.- In combat between Americans, James McGirt defeated Simon Brown in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this fight the WBC welterweight title was at stake.<\/p>\n

1999.- North American Steve Johnston defended his WBC lightweight title by defeating Britain’s Billy Schwer by decision in London, England.<\/p>\n

2007.- Thai Oleydong Sithsamerchai defended his WBC straw-weight title by defeating Eagle Dan Junlaphan by decision. The fight took place in Bangkok, Thailand.<\/p>\n

2008.- Mexican Edgar Sosa defended his WBC light flyweight title by knocking out Filipino Juanito Rubillar in the seventh round. The fight took place in Mexico City.<\/p>\n
