Amir Khan is coming to WBC Convention\u00a0 in Uzbekistan<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

From Bolton to Tashkent, with the very welcome announcement that Amir Khan will be a Special Guest at the World Boxing Council Convention in Uzbekistan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The most important boxing event of the year, the 2023 World Boxing Council annual Convention will be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, 12-17 November.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Tashkent the City of Stone, is the economic and cultural hub of Uzbekistan and one of the richest cities in all of Central Asia. It combines history, tradition,\u00a0 offering spectacular views of an oriental city, wide avenues, succulent\u00a0 restaurants as well as\u00a0 large and beautiful buildings, which will be draped and adorned In Green and Gold.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the champions who will join us and be greeted with open arms, is Amir Khan.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0Born on December 8, 1986 in England, is a former champion who won multiple titles in his successful career. Amir is the youngest British Olympic boxing medalist. He won silver at the 2004 Athens Olympics at age 17. He is also one of the youngest British world champions in history, winning the super lightweight title at 22 years old.<\/p>\n

The organizers and people of Uzbekistan are thrilled, proud and honored to welcome the entire WBC family and show the world that it is a fantastic and hospitable country ready and enthusiastic to\u00a0 host a memorable extravaganza.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
