WBC CARES visits Tigre’s Boxing Gym in Texas<\/strong><\/h2>\n

As part of the WBC CARES program, Trainer Omar Figueroa, Interim WBC Featherweight Champion Brandon Figuera, former WBC World Lightweight Champion Omar Figueroa Jr. and current FECARBOX WBC Featherweight Champion Nathan Rodr\u00edguez visited the Tigre’s Boxing Gym in Edinburg, Texas.<\/p>\n

The champions spent memorable quality time with children and youth from the gym, motivating them to continue training hard to fulfill their dreams.
\nThe children, who received gifts and souvenirs from the WBC, were delighted to be alongside and beside our champions, as well as hearing their marvelous success stories that led them to reach the pinnacle boxing.<\/p>\n

The trainers and staff of Tigre’s Boxing Gym thanked everyone for the visit and reiterated the importance of this, to motivate children and young people to maintain a healthy life linked to sport:
\n\u201cOur students were in awe of all the achievements our visitors have had in their careers. They aspire to be like them. We appreciate the gifts and attention of our visitors to our students.
