The Mexican left-handed knockout KO Artist William Zepeda has already traveled to Saudi Arabia, in search of conquering the interim lightweight title of the World Boxing Council, on Saturday, November 16 in Riyadh, when he faces the former world champion Tevin Farmer, in the Latino Night card, presented by Riyadh Season.
Confident of the work done in the mountains of the State of Mexico, specifically in the municipality of Jiquipilco, where he was assisted by his team headed by his trainers Jay “Panda” Najar and Carlos Duarte, the first classified in the 135-pound division,is confident of successfully facing an experienced opponent…former super featherweight champion of the IBF, Tevin Farmer, in a duel that if he is victorious will lead him to great contests, such as against the regular champion Shakur Stevenson.
Zepeda says he is in optimal condition to face and defeat his rival by allmeans. “This is the opportunity we have been working for for many years,” he said, reiterating his confidence in taking over the interim WBC crown.
“Camarón” Zepeda, who in his most recent engagement dominated and knocked out Giovanni Cabrera at 1:58 minutes of the third round, will arrive at his debut in Saudi Arabia with an undefeated record of 31 fights, 27 of them by knockout.
Tevin Farmer will do so with a record of 33 wins, six of them by knockout, in exchange for three losses.
