William Zepeda defeats “JoJo” Diaz

Mexican lightweight William “El Camarón” Zepeda maintained his undefeated record by defeating former world champion Joseph “JoJo” Díaz Jr. by unanimous decision at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California.

Despite Diaz’s extensive experience, “Camarón” Zepeda dominated the fight, unleashing power shots, en route to a lopsided victory of 119-109, 119-109 and 118-110 on all three judges` scorecards.
Zepeda simply overwhelmed Diaz with non-stop power shots for most of the rounds, putting him in a predicament on several occasions.
With this victory, “Camarón” Díaz improved his record to 27-0, with 23 knockouts, while “JoJo” Díaz is now 32-3-1, with 15 knockouts.
