Whyte ready to defend WBC Silver crown in rematch against Chisora
World Boxing Council Silver heavyweight champion Dillian Whyte (24-1, 17 KO’s) will be defending his crown in a keenly anticipated rematch against Dereck Chisora (29-8, 21 KO’s) on December 22 at the O2 Arena In London, England, to be broadcast on Sky Box PPV.
The previous clash was almost two years ago, in which Whyte won on points In a veritable barnstormer at Manchester Arena. The scores were 115-113, 114-115 and 115-114 for Dillian, once the dust settled.
“The last time was my first fight at 12 rounds. But this time I will know exactly what to do,” promised the Silver champion.
On this same card, WBC flyweight champion Cristofer Rosales will defend his crown against local fighter Charlie Edwards.
