Christiane graduated from the Universidad Iberoamericana, with a Nutrition and Food Science Degree and has dedicated a generous portion of her life to helping others from all spheres and walks of life. Her life and work has been also been linked to boxing, and in 2008 her father-in-law, Don José Sulaimán invited her to join the WBC Cares program, where she began to work with Jill Diamond, together becoming a diligent duo, since their ideals united with great synergy, energy and drive.
As President of WBC Cares Mexico, Christiane has achieved the most important part of its mission, providing, inspiration, opportunity and hope to the most vulnerable groups, counting on the goodwill of our champions who are always willing to selflessly help.
WBC Cares Mexico, guided by the leadership of Christiane Manzur, has built growing and fruitful relationships with different organizations, all in favor of helping those who need it most, particularly the young. It has also joined various campaigns such as breast cancer prevention, breast cancer awareness, autism and KO bullying.
The work has been comprehensively ongoing, overcoming all obstacles, because even during the Pandemic, hundreds of actions were also implemented to maintain the activity such as motivational talks via zoom, a series of seminars for the Juvenile Penal System with great success, distribution of health care products and food, which has been a frequent and constant activity nationwide, which then developed and extended worldwide, thanks to the great global allies that the program has.
For Christiane Manzur, the success of WBC Cares and the fact that more and more people are joining this non profit initiative, lies in empathy, in caring for others and giving the best we have of ourselves each and every day.
