One of the best known faces in the business world and even in sports, is Carlos Bremer, a man who from a young age showed great interest in business, but above all a passionate about social responsibility, the entrepreneurship, sports and his country.
Today in the WBC TALKS in its 45th edition, Carlos shared with all of us how he started in the business world, and it is worth mentioning that he started his university career as an industrial engineer; However, since he was 13, he was already interested in numbers, so much so that he started selling calculators and any other items
A man very close to his father, who instilled in him with the love of sports and of serving and helping others. His foray into finance aged just seventeen was due to the death of his father. A path that has led him to great success through canny, intuitive hard work.
In 1993 he partnered with Javier Benítez Gómez, also from Monterrey, to capitalize on what we now know as VALUE Grupo Financiero, the most profitable of non-banking groups in Mexico in recent years.
Carlos, with his matchless style and good humor, took us by the hand for his life, from those childhood years to the present day; However, one of the parts that he enjoys counting the most is what he calls social responsibility and at this point education and sport is one of his priorities, because as we already mentioned, sport has been part of his life and in the last 20 years, to contribute and sponsor to athletes who put Mexico on high as Saúl Álvarez, Eduardo Nájera, Andy Ruiz, Paola Longoria, as well as baseball and basketball teams. Also supporting the development of infrastructure for the practice of sport.
However, something that he never thought of doing and that in the end are things that have given him great satisfaction is investing in the cinema or being on television, but different circumstances put these two opportunities in his path, and his first intervention in the cinematographic world was with the movie The Perfect Game, followed by Champions and the latest 108 Seams.
With a very special affection and without looking for it, the opportunity came to participate in Shark Tank Mexico, a program that gave him a new direction and a way of doing something that he enjoys: supporting entrepreneurs, seeing how an idea can become something really big.
For Carlos, the talent that Mexico has is simply amazing and Shark Tank has given him the opportunity to meet many entrepreneurs who have the firm conviction to help others, he described as gratifying the fact of seeing many young people bring projects that enhance our country, flavored with sources of employment.
