WBC Prospect of the Week: Roxy Verduzco
In 2008, fighter Iyana Roxy Verduzco became the winner of the 4th Green Belt Challenge Tournament.
She did it by showing quality, heart and passion in each of her fights.
At the end of the competition Roxy talked about her plans, her dreams and hopes. The most important of them: becoming WBC world champion.
Five years have passed since that moment and since then Roxy has not stopped working to make her dreams come true. She can commonly be seen training alongside ring greats like Yokasta Valle with the firm intention of making history in this sport.
Tomorrow she will have the opportunity to begin her path to maximum sporting glory, as she will make her professional debut at nothing more and nothing less than Forum Kia in Inglewood, California.
