
The highly anticipated #WBCHamburg2024 Convention is set to take place from December 8th to 14th, 2024, in the stunning city of Hamburg at the luxurious Grand Elysée Hotel.
While the official start of the convention is two days away, many dedicated members have already begun their preparations. As per tradition, the World Boxing Council initiated the first convention activity with a crucial Ratings Session.
Early this morning, members of the Ratings Committee convened to commence their important work. Among those present were Juan Miguel Elorde, Daniel Van De Wiele, Nancy Rodriguez, Nicolas Hidalgo, Miguel Angel De Pablos, Carlos Utrilla, Alberto Guerra, Luis Medina, Kevin Noone, Marina Milovanova, Patrick Cusick, Alberto Leon, Frank Hadley, Peter Ngatane, Anson Waingright, Marcos Ariente and Ratings´ Committee Head, Dean Lohuis.
WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman also participated in this significant meeting, providing essential guidance and coordinating specialized discussions. The committee began its deliberations with the heavier weight divisions and is expected to continue throughout the day and tomorrow, addressing the lighter weight categories.
