At the event held in Dublin, Ireland, two WBC belts will be on the line.
Michael Conlan and Jack Bateson will clash for the WBC International featherweight title.
Charlie Edwards and Salvador Juárez will face off for the WBC International super flyweight title.
Michael “Irish Mick Conlan” Conlan
Conlan holds a record of 19-3 with 9 KOs. This will be the first time he fights for a WBC belt.
The Irishman is coming off a stretch where he has won 3 of his last 5 fights.
Jack Bateson
The British fighter will also be competing for his first WBC-sanctioned title.
Bateson has only one loss in his professional career, with 20 wins and 1 draw. In his last fight, an unfortunate accidental clash of heads caused the bout to be stopped.
Charlie Edwards
Edwards became the WBC flyweight world champion in 2018. He also won the WBC International Silver titles at bantamweight and flyweight.
With a record of 20-2 and 7 KOs, he will be looking to capture his fourth green and gold belt.
Salvador “Peloncito” Juárez
The Mexican fighter has also held a WBC title. In 2021, he defeated Geraldo Valdez by unanimous decision to win the WBC Latin American super flyweight belt.
With a record of 20-9-2, Juárez now faces a tough challenge against the Briton.
