The WBC is firmly adhering to ten rounds, each fought over two minutes for women boxers. President Mauricio Sulaiman stressed that what happens in the ring has the potential to affect a person for the rest of their life. Safety will always be the paramount priority. Mauricio stressed the wisdom of this can be seen in the fact that no one WBC woman boxer suffers from blurred speech problems.
