
Special Olympics Mexico athletes, were waved Bon Voyage by Mexican authorities, giving them an emotional God Speed for the important competition in which they will participate: the “Special Olympics 2025 Winter Games.”
With the participation of 2,500 athletes, 625 coaches, 3,000 volunteers, medical personnel, family members, media, guests, delegates and more than 300,000 spectators, this magnificent sporting event will take place from March 7 to 16, 2025 in Turin, Italy.
Special Olympics Mexico will represent the country with a delegation of 29 athletes.
Special Olympics is the largest movement in the world for people with intellectual disabilities, which aims to integrate them into society as useful and productive citizens, within a framework of acceptance, equality, respect and love through all its programs.
The World Boxing Council wishes the athletes of Special Olympics Mexico great success and reiterates the tremendous pride we all feel for their participation in the sporting event in Turin.
