One of the most prominent ring officials since 1997, Hawaiian Hubert Minn, was inducted into the Hawaii Hall of Fame for his outstanding career.
In his career he has officiated multiple boxing matches in which more than 55 fights for world titles stand out. As chairman of the WBC Ring Officials Committee, he has trained hundreds of referees and judges around the world, always standing out for his honesty and commitment.
In 2019, his father Herbert was also inducted into the Hawaii Hall of Fame, also being a historic ring official.
“The last time I was here was to accept my father’s recognition. I want to thank everyone involved for this honor. I thank the WBC and the entire team of ring officials, and I will continue as always giving my best, ”said Hubert.
The WBC and its president, Mauricio Sulaimán, congratulate Hubert on his induction into the Hawaii Hall of Fame.
