WBC Congratulates Claressa Shields on Historic $8 Million Deal with Wynn Records and Salita Promotions

The WBC extends our most sincere congratulations to the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World and multi-division champion Claressa “The GWOAT” Shields, following the announcement of a strategic and unprecedented agreement.

Shields has signed a multi-fight partnership with a minimum guaranteed $8 million with Wynn Records and Salita Promotions, marking a milestone in the history of women’s boxing.

This agreement is not only one of the most lucrative for a woman in boxing but also introduces a new model for the sport, merging boxing promotion with entertainment, music, and culture.

Claressa Shields, who is the only Undisputed Champion across three weight classes in history, continues to prove herself a trailblazer and a symbol of excellence and empowerment.

The agreement establishes a unique collaboration between an entertainment powerhouse (Wynn Records) and a world-class promoter (Salita Promotions), with the goal of elevating the profile of Shields and the sport of boxing through cross-promotional opportunities.

Dmitriy Salita, President of Salita Promotions, stated that the goal is to “combine boxing, culture, and music to elevate the sport and its athletes beyond the traditional sports pages,” creating a future model for the industry.

Claressa Shields’ next bout is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026.
