Christiane Manzur –WBC Cares President MX
”I have been very moved by this Coffee Tuesday. So many nationalities, so many realities and in the end all united by the same dreams and principles. Everything was born from the heart of Don José and fortunately Mauricio inherited that important part that make the WBC so unique.
”We are very happy to be able to partner with the CDMX Boys and Girls Club and the State of Mexico; I had the opportunity to go to their facilities and I can tell you that you can breathe love, empathy, solidarity and commitment. We are very pleased to be part of this agreement.
”Children are the future of the country and the world. Every morning is the beginning of a new opportunity, if you get tired, don’t give up, just rest and start again. We all have something we can fight for and there should be no one to tell us “You can’t.” The world is open for all dreams and possibilities. Every day is the start of a new opportunity. Don`t fight with the past. Have the energy and use it to construct the future.”
Alejandra Palomino – Executive Director Boys and Girls Club CDMX and State of Mexico
”I feel overwhelmed to see and feel so much inspiration. This conference has been full of emotions that have allowed me to understand even more why our organizations met, since I firmly believe that we are guided by the same principles. Thanks to Mauricio and Christiane for believing in us. We seek to inspire young people to discover and develop their talents and passions. What we seek with this alliance is to help many children strengthen their sporting talents. On behalf of all of us who collaborate with this initiative, we thank you.
”We are looking forward to working together. We began activities with the WBC this summer with workshops for more than 240 young people. We are ready to receive the inspiration that the boxers and the WBC family will bring to the Boys and Girls Club.”
