During the 62nd Annual Convention to take place in Hamburg, Germany, from December 8-14 women boxing will be included, as it will mark the 4th boxing convention for women.
The WBC has been a strong and unite supporter to woman boxing for the past three decades.
The WBC created unique specific rules for women, as well as several protocols to ensure their safety and integrity.
The WBC has organized prior to Hamburg, three women’s world conventions, Cancun, Mexico in 2014; Tijuana, Mexico in 2016 and Manila, Philippines in 2018.
The WBC has never charged sanction fees to any woman fighter as a clear attempt to support their career.
Important topics will be addressed in Hamburg including ratings, mandatory fights, medical updates and annual awards.
