
The tournament will be held this August 19th in support of the Shoshana Foundation, dedicated to supporting single mothers in need.
The exciting new promotion company based out of Johannesburg South Africa, aims at showcasing African to talent to the World.
The card features five boxers from the WBC South Africa’s Warrior Ascent Program, which is a boxing development program, providing young talented amateur and professional boxers the opportunity to train on a full time basis with the aim of developing future WBC World champions.
The international card features boxers Nigeria, Congo DRC, South Africa and Zimbabwe
The main event will be contested by Warrior Ascent Athlete Bekizizwe Maitse (23 years old) vs Doctor Ntsele in the Super Bantamweight division over eight rounds.
The co main event features Ardy Katompa (20 years old) another young athlete from the WBC Warrior Ascent Program, taking on former South African and ABU champion Sithembiso Maduna in the featherweight division over 6 rounds. A major step in competition for Katompa in only his fifth outing in professional boxing.
Other WBC Warrior Ascent Athletes featuring on the card are Micheal Adesodun of Nigeria a lightweight boxer with a record of nine fights with nine wins and seven knockouts in those victories.
Kgotso Ramabolu upcoming featherweight talent and Thami Luthuli will also feature on the card. Luthuli looks to carry his undefeated record into a new division as he moves up to Flyweight.
