Wahlstrom to defend WBC title against Jeffrey

World Boxing Council super featherweight female champion Eva Wahlstrom will defend her crown against Ronica “Queen” Jeffrey, on the card presented promoted by Roy Jones Jr. (RJJ) Boxing Promotions, on August 2 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas

The evening will be broadcast live and exclusively, starting at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT, in UFC FIGHT PASS.

Former European champion Wahlstrom (22-1-1, 3 KOs), captured the WBC world title in 2015, winning a 10 round decision on Natalia Vanesa of Valle Aguirre, followed by four successful defenses over Dahiana Santana (35-7), Anahi Esther Sanchez (14-0), Mayra Alejandra Gomez (18-5) and Melissa St. Vil (10-2-4).

Meanwhile Jeffrey (17-1-0, 1 Ko) comes from defeating Edina Kiss on December 7 in an entertaining fight.
