Undisputed cruiserweight champion, Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, stakes his undefeated record and unified Championship on the line, when he faces former champion and dangerous British contender Tony Bellew, on Saturday night at the Arena, in Manchester, England.
Usyk offered a light but entertaining public training session in the final build up to the much anticipated expected combat. Usyk is considered one of the best fighter’s pound for pound, having made history by defeating Murat Gassiev to win the four major belts, with his sensational victory in the WBSS final in July.
Bellew has built a brilliant career winning British, Commonwealth, and European titles plus the WBC cruiserweight crown. The Liverpudlian Warrior is aiming for a fairytale ending to his already fabled career in Manchester, hinting that this could be his swansong.
The fight is organized by Matchroom Boxing, and will be televised through DAZN and SKY app in the UK.
