WBC super welterweight champion Tony “Superbad” Harrison, from Detroit has spent time in his hometown, supporting his community.
“I know where I come from and the neighborhood we are giving back,” Harrison said.
“They need a little help, and we’re just trying to give these people a chance to fight another day. It’s a 12-round battle every day in this community, so whatever we can do to help them fight one more day. that’s what I’ll do.”
Tony organized an event at his Superbad Boxing Gym, while preparing for his rematch against former world champion Jermell Charlo, which will take place on Saturday, December 21 at the main FOX PBC Fight Night event and FOX Sports live from Toyota Arena in Ontario, California
Harrison, who will travel in his own carriage at the Thanksgiving Day Parade in Detroit, gave a large amount of food to those who need it and promised to continue representing his hometown in each fight.
